"Everyday Man" is a collection of three paintings. Shown above is canvas #2. I painted this piece to show how chaotic one's life can become without even knowing it. The "Everyday Man" is in the center of the painting while events are happening around him. In an attempt to reach a more simple euphoric state of mind, his hand is placed on the arrow.

After seeing the movie "The Number 23" I became obsessed with this enigma. I spent days researching events related to the number. The painting is compiled of words, dates, pictures and names all having to do with the 23 Enigma. For those of you who are not familiar with this movement, a key point is the power of five which is reached by 2 + 3 = 5. Upon completing this painting I discovered it had more to do with the enigma than I had originally planned. There are twenty-three number twenty-threes, five large number twenty-threes and twenty-three pictures within the painting. . . done entirely by accident.
